Research work
Pharmacokinetics is an academic field dedicated to understanding the biological fate of drugs administered to living organisms. It is well accepted that pharmacokinetic information from various clinical settings is essential for optimization of pharmacotherapy; however, this information is not always enough, especially for recently launched drugs. Basic and/or clinical studies in our department are planned to contribute to the establishment of precision medicine by providing information on absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion and their relationships with the efficacy and safety of drugs.
