Research work
Cancer is the leading cause of death in this country, therefore, development of novel anti-cancer drugs to improve cancer treatment is needed. With a goal to develop new strategies for cancer treatment, we study process of carcinogenesis and properties of cancer stem cells, aiming at development of efficient novel anticancer drugs without significant adverse effects by finding novel molecules to target cancer stem cells and metabolic reprogramming. We also study anticancer activities of novel inhibitors targeting molecules involved in cancer metabolism to establish novel anticancer therapeutics.
