Research work
The "primitive life" in the planet earth came into the world out of the combination with inorganic compounds, organic compounds, sunlight, discharge, and energy such as radiation ray and natural fever. While the lives have moved in their evolutionary development, they have imported many elements. Based on these important factors for our life, our general research interest is to provide basic and medical new insights for developing new pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, metallo- and radio-pharmaceuticals. The following investigations are in progress.
1) Research and development of zinc complexes for prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes mellitus and liver disorder, 2) Research and development of natural and derived anti-oxidants for prevention and suppression of oxidative stress, 3) Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses of new drug candidates, 4) Research of new analytical methods by ESR and ICP-MS for redox and metallomics biology, 5) Research of new biomarkers for diseases based on molecular-imaging science and technology and their application to new drug developments
