We have researched about medical care, such as promotion of health, improvement in quality of life (QOL), and prevention of diseases. In particular, we have been longitudinally investigating physical, physiological, and mental effects of exercise and diet to optimize QOL in life-diseases people and elderly people. Moreover, we have been developing the indexes and methods of measurement to assess physical, physiological, and mental effects accurately. Based on these findings, we will finally create new system of health promotion being rooted in community.
  We are collaborating with the medical institution (Kitano Hospital and Takeda Hospital) and the academic institution (Kyoto Women’s University, Osaka Prefecture University and the University of Shiga Prefecture.
