Overview

The Bioscience Research Center (BSRC) of Kyoto Pharmaceutical University was built on the South Campus as an experimental animal research facility that contributes to improving campus landscape with considering global and surrounding environments. The construction of BSRC was completed in June 2013, and it has been in operation since September 2013.

Aiming at the establishment of BSRC as follows:

  •  An experimental animal research facility with superior functionality, quality, and efficiency for conducting advanced researches.
  •  A long-life facility that is functional updatable in response to changing research contents under operation.
  •  A cost-effective facility with a hygienic and safe space suitable for the base of intellectual creation.

  The BSRC, which is an ultimate experimental animal research facility in terms of scale, equipment and contents among colleges and universities of pharmaceutical sciences in Japan, aims to perform more appropriate experimental animal research.
