Overview

・The Center for Instrumental Analysis (CIA) was established to effectively support the management of several advanced experimental facilities in Kyoto pharmaceutical university. CIA is engaged in support, management, and training of Mass spectrometer (MS), Nuclear magnetic Resonance Spectrometer (NMR) and Elemental Analyzer as well as the consulting and analysis service. CIA is opened for all members of Kyoto pharmaceutical university and for visiting researchers of cooperative projects. As original research projects of CIA, we have been studying a wide range of the diagnostic agents by the combination of macroscopic approach using whole animals and microscopic approach using tissue sections. We have been preparing and evaluating the radiopharmaceutical by the above combination approach. We also have been developing the staining agents to identify and evaluate the target molecule of specific therapeutic agents in pathological sections.
